They'll be good yet!

You’re welcome. Always glad to hear positive reactions. We’ll be filming for TG4 (the national Irish language broadcaster) during the week, just spent a few hours playing with Kitty, joined by Brid O Donohue playing my C flute. We were much more comfortable playing than for the recording but that’s the way I am afraid. Was a great night.

Yes, the best moments always seem to be when there is no one recording them… alas… but then again… they are all the more valuable for that.

I can imagine that was a great night. Brid’s CD is my next purchase.

P.S. Now,… don’t go thnking that since I acknowledge you are a damned fine player that I’m going to argue any less with you.

I received the CD. It’s faithfully recorded and cleanly produced. I really like the ambiance of this kind of recording - where it feels like your sitting in a room with some fine musicians and listening to them just play for the joy of playing. This CD is a really nice - both content and production.

“They’ll Be Good Yet” will be in my car with two others that have the easy intimate feeling I like; Mary Bergin “Feadoga Stain,” and Ciunas “Up at the Crack of Noon.” Just the ticket to snap my brains out of work mode on my drive home after work.

It’s my favorite-of-the-moment CD to listen to while reedmaking. The more I listen to it, the more I hear the inticacies of the music intself. I play a number of tunes from this CD, and I must say it is refreshing to hear them played as they are by Kitty and Peter. Great tuneage!
