anyone have any idea what the current wait is for a soprano D Burke is these days? i would send Michael an email, but i wouldn’t want to distrupt his brilliant whistle making.

Try Song and Sea. I just bought a Burke Alpro Sop D from them last week. I think they have more in stock.

I don’t know about the wait, but I just emailed Mike about a roll case yesterday and got a reply very quickly, albeit at the ungodly hour of two in the morning. Write him and ask, he’s more than happy to reply.
Also, you might drop a note to Song of the Sea, that often has his whistles in stock. They’re great to deal with, also.

So are ya gonna get the rollcase then?
You know you can also get one with the purchase of a whistle
Hillfolk, it is ALL YOUR FAULT! I haven’t ordered it yet, but it’s on my short list of must have items. I got irritated yesterday trying to haul the whole gang of whistles along. The low D makes my bags way top heavy.
Does anyone know of a whistle roll case that fits low whistles while not requiring their being knocked down into component parts? Mike Burke’s rolls are OK till about the low A size…Anything larger than that requires disassembly.
Cheers
So Sorry Tyghress…
Here’s another place to check out. They custom make bags. I have not purchased one yet.
Would like to wait until my collection becomes complete…(dreamer )

ROFLMFAO! Ayuh. . .by the time your collection is complete you won’t be able to stuff them all in ANY bag, and if you could, you’d need a handtruck to tote 'em!

Please define ROFLMFAO!
Yes you are right… a sad truth…I hope to have a sleeping bag full. Now there’s a thought. Packing a bedroll of whistles
Rolling On The Floor Laughing My Furry A** Off.
The other addiction after getting whistles is getting bags to carry them.
I went through so many ideas, from a small doctor’s bag, to a quiver to mention a few.
Still have not found “the” perfect bag to carry whistles, low whistles and flute.
Michael Burke’s roll is great but not for lows.I carry those in a blueprint bag.
I am now looking for soprano sax case.
Otter, try this link for instrument cases:
