Hey all…
Does anyone have the dots for this tune? It’d be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Samuel

Is this it? I found it at www.thesession.org

I think it sits better on the pipes a tone down so that you hit A and bottom D quite a lot:
A3 DAD AGA cde AGE ccd ecA EFG
A3 DAD AGA cde dcA GEG Add DEG:|
Add ded cde gec ded cAG AdB cAG
AAA ded cde gde dcA GEG Add DEG:|
roughly as Robbie Hannan plays it on his solo CD
…just add a few triplets and variations, which ain’t too hard as
there’s plenty of A’s and D’s.

Good to get the site back to music, by the way, guys.
I don’t think I was the only one getting bored with the usual stuff

good stuff!
thanks boys…
Just thought I’d bring this topic back to the top of the board as the tune is such a good one, and not played by many…so give it a go!!!
I heard Gordon Duncan play a version of this tune on GHBs too…at light speed of course…
he lives about an hour from me…a mate of mine who knows him well says he had a go at UP’s in the past …
…said he’d sound like Paddy Keenan playing a tune, and the next tune would just sound dire.
I’ve heard him play Asturian pipes at one of our tionols…totally pissed and playing away note-perfect…same on the low whistle. He didn’t pick up anyones uilleann pipes, though.
