hey folks: i came across this movie unexpectedly. are there any other movies showcasing whistles and flutes and stuff?
The Secret of Roan Inish is not about music playing, but has a nice trad soundtrack. Agnes Brown has soundtrack music by the Chieftains.

Mute, I found that movie too, a little while back. It was fun. Pity they didn’t let Andrea Corr play whistle, which she can do. they made her play fiddle and she didn’t do a good job of faking it.
I’m not aware of any similar movies.
