Well, everyone, I’ve been thinking lately about how much this board has helped with my piping. I realized that pretty much EVERYTHING I know about the pipes came from here. If it wasn’t for the board, I wouldn’t even know they existed, much less how or where to GET them or how to play them (still working on that one). I’m not exaggerating, either. It’s funny - I still haven’t MET another Uilleann Piper in person. Everything I know is thanks to posts here at C & F.
So, yeah, thanks everyone. I owe a hobby for life to you.
Next. I’m doing another undergrad semester here, then in January it’s off to England to finish up in the study-abroad program. I guess that might delay graduation by a semester (because of class availability and credit transfers…), but I think it’ll still be SUPER worth it.
I’ll probably take the MCAT as soon as I get back from the UK.
I’ve been doing a sort of premed internship thing at one of the hospitals down here (internal medicine), but it’s mostly been convincing me that pediatrics is the place for me. Pediatric oncology.
