A friend of mine who is both a Highland and Uilleann player is thinking of selling his full set of Taylors. It has the original bellows and the chanter has two keys, a stop key and a shutoff valve on the bell. I suggested he give our C&F Forum an opportunity to consider them before going to E-Bay or other channels. A pipe maker has pronounced them “museum quality.” Anyone who is interested can send me a private e-mail and I will give you his e-mail. For the record, I am not involved in any possible transactions other than letting the Forum know about it before the general public. I do know he is asking for the top end of the scale based on contemporary full set prices. Regards to all.
We are all dying to see pics of this set!!! I’d imagine that interest would be high for this set.
The seller was working on photos when I last spoke to him. He’s probably trying to figure out how to get it into the Forum.
