Hi all…
so, my drone switch seems to be really tough to switch on and off. I am wondering what to do about this. It is housed in a cork sleeve. Is there any kind of grease that might ease it up some and make it slide easier?

Just pull it out and put a bit of vaseline on it.
Thanks,
That is my plan of action!

Sounds like the punch line of a rude joke.

Never been too fond of Vaseline for lubing cork. It will harden with age. This may take a few years perhaps. A friend who repairs band instruments told me that it will harden cork over time and he has re-corked lots of instruments where it had been used. Cork grease from the music store is the safest bet. It will preserve cork. Bert’s Bees lip balm is good in a pinch.
