That’s a lovely one…combines astronomy with just a touch of poetry. It’s easy to imagine dreaming under such a sky.

Either way, it’s a great pic, but if it were a single unprocessed exposure I’d be gobsmacked.
Denny’s astronomy images are all links back to the original site. This one’s source page says it is a composite. It is really quite dim compared to a clear, moonless summer night in the country, where the Milky Way is nearly as bright as the moon, and the sky is so crowded with stars you can’t tell where the constellations are any more.
