SOLD: Kirk Lynch 1/2 Set

The set is sold!

Just bought this set a few months back to start piping, but I cannot hang on to it. I really like the pipes, but I had a teacher living with me for the past couple weeks, and he pointed out that I am spreading myself too thin musically, so I need to start cutting back. So in the realm of Irish music I will commit to the flute and accordion, and continue my sitar and sarod studies as well. I paid $3,500 for this set which includes the Dow bellows pictured. I’d like to get $3,150, which is very reasonable given the wait time for both Kirk’s pipes, and the wait time for Dow bellows. The set is made of kingwood with brass and bone mounts.
It was a hard decision on this end, but alas, if I am to become a professional sitarist(which isn’t very far off at this point), and need to start conserving what little time I have to practicing/performing, even more. I still am playing Irish music, just will keep up with the flute and accordion, as I am already familiar with them.

Very nice looking set. Is this in Concert (D) pitch, or is it a flat set?

Too fancy for my blood, I’m more of an ebony, brass and boxwood guy myself. Eh, plus I play left-handed… Kudos on the photo work though, very detailed shots.
