). I was listening to John Skelton rip off a few on his little Hawkes F at a recital a week or so ago and it was so cool. I wish I’d had the money! The timbre of those things is just amazing.
Well okay, I suppose that it seemed to me that the “is Ab odder than B etc. etc., Oh dear!” seemed a bit mocking or condescending, Talasiga, but perhaps I mistook you, and I withdraw my comments. Yes, “numpty” is entirely out of order and I would describe it as beyond mocking, more a direct insult. As to my question about the number of keys, it wasn’t a challenge, but a question - I couldn’t see the sixth key, but only had the photo to go on, so I was asking - they occasionally do have six on those band flutes, but it not as common as five.
