I have a Thompson chanter and can vouch for how well he makes them. You don’t see very many of them for sale second hand.
Can you post some photos and sound files of the chanter?
I agree, post some sound files.
I know of two people who are currently looking for a chanter, but they would be unlikely to approach formally until they have an idea the thing is in tune and playable
