He was great as “the Old Man” in A Christmas Story; I loved the Yosemite Sam style of swearing.
And let’s not forget he was TV’s first Mike Hammer.

Night Stalker was one of my favorites- and yes, he was perfect as the dad in Christmas Story.
All three were great at what they did.
Well they say bad things come in threes. Let’s hope nobody else dies, then we’re in for another three.
