Tom

RIP. He was always Maynard to me, because I liked the character more.

That is cool!
He brought many laughs to me as Maynard.

This is upsetting to me. This thread should be deleted. I come here to read only humor and fluff.

I’m sorry to hear that. There’s a picture of him on the link site. Funny how he looked the same his entire life.

i remember seeing the show as a kid…who didn’t. It was lots of fun.

blackwood. thin ice.

Blackwood: That was badly done, and hurts your case more than helps it.

Bob Denver: Rest In Peace, and thanks for the laughs.

As a child, I watched about every episode of Gilligan’s Island, and when I was a teenager, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis was my favorite show, and I watched it every night. Truly I miss him. May he rest in peace.

I hope he’s playin’ jazz with the angels, man.

RIP Bob.

Awww, Maynerd G. Krebs the first beatnick on TV

BTW: the G stands for Walter.

If Dogs Run Free

WHAT???

How could I have missed hearing about this???

Only three left from that zany bunch of castaways.

The movie star and “the rest”.

We must also not forget Bob’s other (not so famous) shows:

Dusty’s Trail

The Good Guys

Far Out Space Nuts

He was a native of West Virginia.

Sad news indeed, rest in peace Bob. I think I’ll go to the beach tonight and drop a coconut in his honor.

RIP Bob. A lot of laughs indeed.

Tina Louise (Ginger), Dawn Wells (Mary Ann), and Russell Johnson (the Professor) are now, I think, the only survivors of that ill-fated three hour tour.
