Yep, here in the Northeast we are getting another snow storm. My area is supposed to get another 6 - 8 inches. Not really that much, but on top of what we just got, it’s not fun. Cape Cod, parts of which got up to 30 inches last weekend, may get another 10. ![]()

Nice to be in Nova Scotia this past week,

I heard on the radio this morning that this would be a record amount of snow for January for some parts of Massachusetts. I’m glad they cancelled school this morning. On Monday, school in our district wasn’t even delayed, although every school district surrounding us was closed. The sidewalks hadn’t even been done for kids to walk to school in the zero degree temperatures (our town plows them out, thankfully). I thought it was a pretty dangerous situation with kids walking in the street on snow-covered roads. I drove my daughter to school to reduce the amount of time she would be on the road.
If we were skiers, it would be perfect for skiing. I’m sure Mt. Wachusett is busy today!

We would kill for some snow here. AUUUGHHH! You’re making me jealous. As you can see from our skycam, everything around here is brown. We’ve only had two decent (at least 6") snowstorms this winter and it’s all gone. The kids are mudboarding and the broomball players keep falling through the ice.
Blow some of that this way, please.
It’s gonna be a bad summer… so many years of drought.
Well, schools were cancelled here, also, which is a good thing, because the roads were not the best, this morning.
The weather guessers said to expect 6 - 8 inches throughout the state, but it looks to me like the storm may have fallen apart, or maybe the low formed further south, but after a couple of inches it seems to have stopped, at least for now.

Is that Montana or Sweden? We had someone from Sweden visit our lab, and he said there had been no snow yet this year.

Nothing in Jersey.
They should have canceled or at least delayed school monday morning, most the roads were barely plowed, i had the hardest time getting to school that morning, they did cancell school yesterday though so there is hope for the school systems yet!!
Hey, welcome. What part of “good ol CT”?
