Lookin’ good, maw. We’re not too far away so we might get your leftovers!

See - I can joke about leftovers now… give me a few days of turkey diet and see if I’m so flippant!

All the best

It’s looking like it’s on it’s way south now J.I. so get down t’ bookies quik

Wow. Great shots, Thanks maw, I appreciate it. Right now (6:09 am), where I live in Central Florida, it is 63f and raining heavily outside. If I lived back up north in Minnesota, it would be a blizzard.

Happy Christmas!!

Pleasure Joe, I’m only sorry for waking you up so early… expect it was the excitement of Santa comin’…

Not a problem, I am usually up by 4 am.

The snow looks great in pictures.
In Miami it’s warm this morning… at 6:30am we have 78F (25.8C) inside with only a fan running… no heat, no a/c needed. The temperature outside is 63F at 100% relative humidity.

Very unusually (being so close to the ocean we haven’t seen snow in two years) around noon on christmas day a dark cloud sugar coated the Glen.

Great Photo Peter, thanks for sharing it. As much as I like ‘not freezing’ every winter (and in Minnesota…that can last up to 11 months  ), I really miss not standing outside during the first snowfall of the season…the kind where the flakes are the size of goose down feathers.

If you could just stand there and watch it come down it would be great. I am still recovering from a four hour stint cleaning the laneway. Our first snowfall of the season, and it had to be a ten inch dump in twelve hours. I must have been a plow operator in a previous life, and this is my penance.

Ho-ho-ouch!

Fellow Pipers,

My training for the Canadian winter Uilleann Piping season is going pretty well.

Merry Christmas all!

 Nice one, Virg. Its only Dec. fer feck’s sake, and my yard is already filling up. I soon won’t have room to put any more. See you at CLW.
