Happy Holidays, Steven!
But… there are no whistles in your pic! ![]()

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
No potatoes, either. ![]()

It was about 15 degrees (before windchill
) when we took the pic and getting a whistle in the act was not foremost on my mind.
The potatoes, at least the ones they missed during harvest, are under the snow.
Just kidding, Steve. I have seen some shots of Idaho towards the mountains that were breath-taking.

The same to you and you and your family Steve!
Nice picture, took me back about 15 years when I spent a year in high school in small town outside rexburg, Idaho.
Fantastic scenery, very nice and friendly people and excelent skiing ![]()

Have a good one Steve. You look to be a long way from the pub though. ![]()
Next time, pick a cloudy day so you don’t have to squint so! But it’s nice to see ya. Holiday greetings back at ya!
That’s a great family photo!
You live in a beautiful part of the world where the sky makes up a big part of the scenery ~ wonderful!
Happiest of Holidays ![]()

That’s a lovely picture of you and your family and the breath taking view, but don’t tell me that is your driveway in the back ground..that’s a lot of shovelling.
Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I remember Idaho fondly myself. After a weekend of the fiddle contests etc. at Weiser, we left one night too late for good judgement, pulled over to nap, and the driver, driven out of his sleeping bag by the bugs who loved him, took us off cliff as he entered snoozeville! Yipes! The story ended very well though. … my van ended up stuck between the only two really large boulders at the edge of the river (the Snake I believe?). As we crawled/climbed the steep slope to ask for help, the sun rose, bathing the terrifying scene in nature’s unconcerned beauty. The van did not survive its tumble, but the only real injury was the driver’s cracked ribs. .. not too bad for three people and half a dozen instruments! And within a mere 6 hours, with the help of the local gendarme, we had managed to find a nice station wagon to buy to continue our journey. Nice people, beautiful countryside!
Looks like you guys are fitting in nicely! ![]()

What a lovely photo! It makes me miss the West.
Wishing everyone here a lovely, peaceful time. See you in January!

This shows a better view of our drive. The one you see is our neighbor’s accross the road. It still takes a bit of time to clear. I call it my exercise! ![]()

Just the girls here–but in the house, not in the yard. It’s raining, I’m sorry
to say, and the interior vista leaves a bit to be desired after Steven’s yard! Merry Christmas!
