You might have seen my advert earlier this year asking to acquire a set of vpipes. Well I’ve found someone in the US willing to part with their set. The only trouble is it seems to nigh on impossible to get them shipped over to the UK by the regular couriers (DHL, FedEx,UPS) because of the lithium ion batteries contained within the unit. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get them over to the UK?
Is there any way to simply remove the battery?
The batteries cannot be removed easily. They are soldered to wiring and electronic parts to protect the batteries from overloading and deep-discharging.
Within Europe up to now it was no problem to send. I recently sent mine to Ramon Castro from Germany to Spain and he has then sent back to me.
