Sessions/Flute Teachers in Hartford, CT area

Anyone know of any flute teachers or sessions in the Hartford, CT area?

Sessions in the Hartford area…the biggie is City Steam on Wednesday night…others on Sundays at AOH in New Britain and Irish club in Glastonbury, and a once in a while in Meriden on Friday nights. Please look for me at CS and I’ll introduce you around (no, I don’t have my stripes on at City Steam, but I do have a whistle, and usually a whiskey, and I sit to the right as you’re looking at the group.) we start between 7:30 and 8:00.

In MA there is a session at Bishops and another at The Harp…do a search in the whistle board for the locations there.

As for teachers, rumor has it Will O’Hare teaches flute, but I haven’t been able to nail him down. Bill Hart teaches fife, and has branched out to whistle and Irish flute, at least he’s teaching ME some. He’s in New Britain, and if you drop me an email I’ll see if I can find his phone number, or give him yours.

I think this Sunday is in Glastonbury…drop me an email with a phone number and I’ll confirm and give you directions when I know for certain (probably late tomorrow night).

Thanks very much for your suggestions. I tried to email you, but the message bounced back to me, I think because of a spam-blocking function on my computer. I can’t quite figure it out. Anyway, my apologies for not replying to you sooner. I thought I might be spending some time in Hartford, but that looks less likely now. If I do come up, I’ll know where to find you.
