flute teacher - london, berkshire or nearby

please if anyone knows of wooden flute teachers in these areas let me know

Hey John!

There’s a newer forum Teachers Wanted / Students Accepted

…'course the only entry for London or Berkshire is someone looking for a whistle teacher last September…

g’luck

Yeah, it’s too bad that so few people ever look at that particular forum. I’ve had a post on that forum, for a teacher, forever and not one response (since last June). I live in a fairly large metropolitian area (Salt Lake City, Utah) and I find it difficult to accept that there isn’t a teacher, that I can find, in the entire area. I currently use the computer video teaching of Blayne Chestain which is pretty good, but I think a real live, honest to goodness, teacher would be the best of all worlds. Like I say, I live in an area with a population of over a million, and not one teacher of Irish Flutes; simply amazing–go figure!!! :boggle: BTW John, I hope you have better success than I have had.

Brendan Mulkere runs classes at the Hammersmith Irish Centre, not specifically for flute but he may be able to put you in contact with someone, you could also go along to one of the Comhaltas evenings and ask there.

Camden Irish Centre may be able to help - Karen Ryan would be the person to contact
