SESSION IN NEW HAMPSHIRE

Yes, it was a pretty good one. Jimmy Noonan (The Clare Connection, The Maple Leaf-- two classic CDs) was there. Randy Miller (Traditional Irish Music, Vols 1-3) played fiddle. Cathy Wilde (from the list) with her beau Larry, who plays some great polkas. Regina Delaney, playing harp and dancing betimes. Brad Dorsey, fiddler, & Rich Attridge, fluter. In all over twenty people and some accomplished players to drive the pace along. Too many players overall, really, but still fun.
After almost everybody left Rosemary Lane waltzed in with plates of Tater Tots and S’mores and the session started up again and we played till four in the morning..

You’ve got be kidding. The night I miss all sorts of people show up and you play all night. The night I come you leave at 9?
:moreevil: Chris

Just back in – I’m sorry it took me so long to write! Anyway, thank you all ever so much for a truly marvelous time (finally winding the session down in the donut shop was the pinnacle)(;-)).

OK, seriously – it was wonderful to meet you, and even more wonderful to play with you all. You guys seriously rock!

Anyway, if you’re ever down this-away, let me know – while I may not be able to put on something quite so grand, we’ll have some fun, I guarantee it. And this time, rama, I’ll get my Moon Pie act together, I promise.

(Better yet: for you, David, I’ll even try to sit still. )

Again, you guys are the coolest.
Eternal gratitude from me and The Polka King,

cat.

and keep movin’ and agroovin’ when you playin’…no sense in sitting still..save that for the geezer (or geezette) days when we break for little deb snack cakes and tea…
