Anyone ever hear of a professional band called the 78th Frasers Highlanders Pipe Band? I don’t THINK, from the ad, that its a British military band. They’re putting on a concert/ stage show here on May 16th, but it sounds like it might be songs and storytelling as much as anything else.

They are amazing.
They’re a civilian outfit from, I think, Toronto. The band is known
for innovative music and first class performances. There’s a trend
in the Grade 1 pipe bands for presenting high quality concerts,
and the 78th’s should put on a great show.

Ya GOTTA see them and ya GOTTA respect them!! Word is that every one of the pipers had to be dancers first before getting into the pipe band. That way they have a much better feel for the music.
As always, listening to a pipe band in confined areas requires some ear protection…unless you really like hearing the music ringing in your ears days afterwards!!
