Yes, though I have not heard details. I’m not sure who to tell you to ask. Larry Nugent knows about Tansey being in the area but I’m not sure how to reach him. Another name I have heard is Dominic Murray but I don’t know how to reach him either… I know fat lot of good I am.

do you know if he will be coming around to the ohio area any time soon? my uncle cant make it up to chicago.
As far as I know, the two Illinois concerts and the one he’s doing in Boston next Saturday night are his only US appearances on this trip.
Actually, he played in Detroit on Friday. Not that that is particularly helpful to note at this point!
I hope you were able to see Mr. Tansey. I can only say “WOW!”. That was an amazingly powerful performance he gave us.

i did get to see it! it was wonderful. it was so great to be able to see him live–i was so excited that he played the copperplate. i loved it when he played slow airs interspersed with poems. i wish more people did that!
FYI, Tansey will also appear in New York next week at a session with Tony DeMarco at Paddy Reilly’s…I don’t have any details but I believe those sessions usually happen on Thursday nights; I’ll post info here later unless someone else has details.
