Hi Scott,
Congratulations on the site.
Patrick.
When do you expect to have photos up?
Thank you very much!
This was my first stab at creating a website.
I’ve run into a little bit of a snare with that, at the last couple of meetings we’ve had I have taken pictures with a rather old digital camera. Since then I have updated my computer and camera (which allowed for the site creation… or at the very least sped it up considerably) and the new computer doesn’t like to talk to the old camera. So I am faced with a bit of a technology gap for a short time.
Of course moving forward, there will be plenty of (very good) pics taken with the new camera that will be sent up to the site.
Hi Scott,
You might just have to go to the website of the camera company that made your old digital camera and download the drivers that match your new OS?
Hope that helps,
PD.

wow !! a very usefull website. i like very much thoses close shot video in the technics section!!
hope to see other video like that!!
congratulation!!! ![]()
Thank you very much! I was hoping to put some useful stuff out there.
I agree, brilliant idea utilizing video that way. Can’t wait to see the videos for rolls, nipping and back-stitching. ![]()
Now Scotty, don’t tell me just cause you guys are a paltry 1,000 feet or so higher than us here in Salt Lake that you’re jealous of our thongs out here! I bet you all don’t even have your own llama yet! Look man, all ya got ta do is ask and we’d be MORE than happy to help ya out there.
I mean, we mountain pipers gotta stick together right?
Seriously, great work! I’ll be sure to add your link to the SLPC site just as soon as I have more than two seconds to myself to do it. ![]()
Brian~
I’m sure the RMUP can do better than a measly llama. After all, llamas are so common these days. Tibet is overrun with them. Now an alpaca, that’s what you want! Nobody else has an alpaca in their piping club. ![]()

Oh don’t let Baxter catch you saying that! He’s been known to spit a man’s head cleeeeean off! You’re wondering right about now…did he spit six times…or only five. Do you feel lucky piper? Well DO ya?
![]()
Ah, but can he spit and sing in your choir at the same time? ![]()
djm
All while doing the hula dance. Yep. You BET he can! Our Baxter can also beat any Iron Chef in a cook-off (assuming all you’re cooking are llama pellets) and can speak Congan fluently. I’ve also heard he may be the newest green party member to run for president…but I think that last one is just a rumor.
Hey Scott, on a side note, we’ve added you too the links page on the SLPC site:
http://www.saltlakepipers.com/Links.html
and added a bit of a greeting to you all on our main page:
http://www.saltlakepipers.com/index.html
With luck we’ll be able to get our two groups together soon. All the best and congratulations!!!
Bri~
What’s the thong thing about? I don’t get it… ![]()

Aren’t you glad you asked? ![]()
If ya can’t play wearing a thong - what kind of two-bit musician are ya?!

Yeah!! I got mine two months ago, and haven’t taken it off yet!!! My playing has increased by leaps and bounds…ummm…and so has the size of the crotch rot. Anybody got any ideas how to get rid of it?..no, actually, maybe I really don’t want to know.
Maybe Mr. McCallister can list some crotch rot ointment as an item for sale on his brand spanking new, and great, site!
