***Rocky Mountain Session/July 21-22***

I like the way you’re thinking, Brian. We can sleep at home! (:

Tom

Guess it’s time to float the R.M.S. thread again. Five days and counting. Excitement is mounting.
I’m going to see if we can use our subdivision park which has a grassy embankment where an audience can sit. It’s
an ideal place for a Sunday afternoon “performance”. Any “performers” coming? I can get the word out to the neighborhood and muster an audience. It’s still just a thought.

OH OH OH !!!

I am SO EXCITED about all this!!! I recieved an email from Bill (piper from Blarney Pilgrim) yesterday, and he was saying he’d try to get some folks out on Sat. night too!

BOOYA!!!

Guess I need to break out the polish, and play my little lips off for the next five days to practice huh?

Can’t wait to see you guys!

Brian~

I have half a dozen tunes down pat and another 6-8 that I know fairly well. I hope you guys are bringing your teacher caps along cause I plan on learning alot from you this weekend

I’m with Ron–I love to perform the few tunes I know, but I’m sort of stuck in “eternal beginner” mode due to severe whistle isolation. I’ll be full of questions and dumb looks, so be prepared!

Tom

I should be pulling in mid afternoon to early evening on Saturday. I don’t know a TON of tunes per-se, but I might be able to share thirty or fourty!

Mack? What you gonna teach all of us?!

I may even bring a friend of mine with a bodhrán for a good human metronome!!

Bri~

I’m still healing, they decided to operate on my wrist June 29th and I’m still in the leg cast so the wisdom part of me says “Jim you can’t drive 14-15 hours in spite of how much you want to be there.” I wish Y’all the best. I’m managing to stretch my fingers enough so I can play some slow songs on my middle length whistles like the A and the G.

Since I can’t be there I’m going to put myself in a meditation place and join you in spirit playing as much as I can. If you can spare even a couple minutes send us a post telling how much fun you are having.

And please, please, please promise to do this again so I can join in in person. I’m not that good but I do enjoy the feel of playing. Mystical, mythical, healing
