Hi All,
My lovely wife and I will be having a Labor Day Bar-B-Que Sunday Sept. 1. All you guys I know from the area are invited and it would be a great time to meet the new board members in the Denver area. Food, frivolity, and hopefully alot of music and craic if you all can make it. If you have kids bring swimsuits for them there is a pool and I am not above lobbing the occasional water baloon at anyone who looks to serious. I’m off for a weeks vacation in the mountains so if I don’t reply right away I will as soon as I get back.

It’s a holiday weekend, LABOR DAY, what better way to spend it than by visiting children your lovely wife was IN LABOR with? And of course since you will be in Denver visiting them anyway you might as well stop by for some tunes and a bite to eat.

Ron, you are SERIOUSLY tempting me to come out! I mean, I was just in Boise this past weekend, but what’s a few more hours to Denver for Labor day??? I get next Monday off, so it’s not a big deal at all to drive back then.
My biggest trouble would be gas money, out and back, as I’m still scrambling to find a place to live after Heather and I broke up. But who knows…maybe I’ll find a supprise check in the mail, and be able to make it out after all. Cross some fingers and we’ll see…

Joan and I will be there unless things change, leaving GJ early enough to arrive at Ron’s by four, play till nine or so and stay the night with Emily and Matthew, then return Monday.
Brian, if you can get to GJ Sunday AM, a place to sleep Sunday night, and arrange for a rendezvous on Monday you’ve got a ride.

OK, here’s my proposal:
Beth - You drive down to see me here…and bring Ben along, show up sometime Saturday if you can, and we’ll head off to Mack’s either Sat night, or early Sun. morning.
Once at Hoover Mannor, we can all pile in again, and head the rest of the way into Denver from there.
See, the ebauty of my plan is this: Most of us only have to drive four about 4 hours at a stretch, and that way, we can all save a little on gas money too…carpooling, and all going dibs on whoever’s driving the particular leg of the journey.
This will be a Turas Mór for sure!!!
