I’ll probably pull into Mack’s place late morning/early afternoon on Saturday, and I’m optomistic he’ll have a piece of floor I can borrow for the night!
As for Denver, I would be most remis in my duties as a fellow Rocky Mountain Boy to turn down such a kind, and generous offer! I’ll take the room!
So, if all works out, I’ll be there. My only looming concern, is that scraping up enough money for gas to GJ and back is gonna be tough. I think I can find it somewhere, but I’m not too sure where that is just yet. Needless to say, I won’t have any spare change left over for Guinness, so if any whistlers care to support a charity case on Sunday well…
I’ll let you guys know for sure as the date approaches, and I find out more with my finances.
Hey Brian, I’ll bet you would make loads of cash $$$, busking on the Boulder mall late Sunday morning. People up there would eat up that kind of thing.
All I need is some bucks for food, and to help out with Gas and such to get home again! You think I really could?! LOL Would you drive me up and back? I won’t have a car I think, as I’d be arriving in Denver with Mack
Well I’d soon be staring at the business end of my wife’s hissy fit if I did that.
(whip noise- meow!)
You could always try the mall in downtown Denver, too. Larimer Square or so. I’m telling you, playing Ullieann pipes is a rarity around here. You’d Rake it in bro’.
I hope to see you at Ron’s at any rate.
TTFN, Brian

Things are shaping up well for this weekind after all. I still need to work out the details with Mack and Ron (Please drop me an email when you have a chance guys), but I SHOULD be able to make it out.
Looking forward to meeting the new faces, and re-aquainting with the old!!
Hey Ron, hope it’s," the more the merrier ". I invited Another (timid) whistle player to the party. We’ll have to get him out of his shell. Wow it just occured to me his last name is O’shell.
Well Last night’s fun is over, and it is a bit sad not hearing music throughout the house, but it was a whole hell of alot of fun while it lasted. My neighbors were so amzed at the demonstration of highland pipe playing that they were still to stunned to speak to me this morning, just kind of stared at me with a look I’ve never seen before.
Thanks Ron The party was great. I am glad I met everyone at the party as well as hearing some amazing music. I look forward to the same type of thing in the future. Keep in touch all.
Wow, Ron that was a very awesome party/session last night. My step-daughter was thrilled to hear she made such an impression. My wife, son and I had a blast. Your daughter was very nice to Liam and kept him entertained and out of trouble. Let’s do it again, soon! Your peeps are soooo coooool.
P.S. Liam turned into a Gusherhead on the way home.
note to self Bring a kilt for the wee one next time!
Ron - I tried to email you last night, but Yahoo! was being a pill, and ate it, so here it is: I’m home safely. 16.75 total hours of driving. 1,084 miles driven. 0 speeding tickets. (WOO-HOO!)
All in all a wonderful time! Sorry I left without saying goodbye, but with your work schedule, I figured it was best to let all of you sleep as long as possible!
It was great to see some of the old faces, and to meet new ones. We had our cross-pollenation between the Irish and Scot pipers too, and it was a thing of beauty!!
Anyway, let us know what happens with the Chieftains!
Glad everyone had such a good time, and I’m glad you made it home safe and sound and minus tickets Brian.
I picked up Off to California listening to Brian play it. Brian I need an address where I can send you some stuff AND We WILL BE AT GRAND JUNCTION 20-22
See you all there
