Redwolf
I’m sorry to hear it; Wrinkle.. had some of the most vivid characters in the YA genre.
What a very sad loss…her books were some of my favorite when I was growing up.
Not many people realize it, but she was also quite the Biblical scholar. One of my favorite non-fiction books is her “A Stone For A Pillow”…a study of the story of Jacob. She also did some lovely Christian poetry.
I keep hoping my daughter will read “Wrinkle,” as I think she will see herself in Meg Murry.
Redwolf
The only fantasy novels I ever enjoyed.
Oh…I love her.
When I was a student at Kenyon College in Ohio, she spoke at the Episcopal Church one Sunday. And yes, there she did tie spirituality to metaphysics. Good speaker.
Sad to hear it… may she find the journey as interesting as her characters did.
