Sad, sad and shocking news this morning.
Jazz pianist and composer Esbjörn Svensson passed away after a diving accident at the age of 44. 
He had an exceptional talent and his minimalistic style of playing will be dearly missed.
My thoughts goes to his wife and two children.

A rather strange way to be introduced to a wonderful player. I had never heard of the guy up till an hour ago but a trawl through You tube got me hooked.
From an alleged minimalist, I could hear a lot of Brubeck in his playing.
Forty four is no age to die though.
May he rest in Peace.
