Received 2 of the Joanie Madden CD’s this past weekend and they are great. My question is this. Are there others that focus on whistle or that are similar to these? I have done a search but it gets sort of overwhelming and since I am so new to it, I don’tknow which are which. Any help is appreciated. I really am enjoying this. I’ve got my first tune pretty much down.
hi there cecilg! Well, you are right, there are countless whistles cds out there…do you have a shop near by that sells whistle cds? If I were you, I’d just go and listen, see what you like, and get it!

This is an excellent whistle recording that came out last year. If you go to the website below, and then click on the name of the recording on the right hand side of the home page, you can see what is on the CD and hear some sound clips. You can also read all about Ms. O’Donohue, etc. I ordered mine from the website and it worked out just fine. Ms. O’Donohue even put a thank you note inside!

CDNOW and CDUNIVERSE both have large listings and for many, you can listen to at least parts of the songs before you buy.
Thanks for all the info. I have ordered all of the cd’s suggested except, Tin Whistles-Maloney and Potts. I can’t seem to find it. If anyone has info as where to get I would appreciate it.
