Hello all,
Myself, my brother and a friend of mine are planning to visit Woodlawn, (the Bronx) New york at the start of april (travelling from dublin) to visit my other Brother who lives there.
We will be bringing our instruments (2 sets of pipes, 1 banjo and 1 fiddle)with us and hope to play a few tunes. I was wondering if anybody in that neck of the woods could recommend some pubs in the area where we would be welcome? My brother that lives there is not into trad and the like and does not know anywhere we could go.
Any help would be appreciated…

You wont be too far form this one. Intermediate level session except when David Power shows then its well ya know.

1st and 3rd Sunday evening, 6-9pm

Dublin House, 30 Monmouth St, Red Bank
(Between Maple Ave and Broad St)
there is a session on in maguires in woodside every sunday from around seven any one can play,its on a small stage 55th and rossevelt not to far from woodlawn.
