Best NYC Pub for Piping

I am going to be in Clifton NJ next week and may have opportunity to go to NYC for some dinner and music. I would like to get some recommendations on the best Irish Pubs to make the most of the evening. I can not take my pipes on this trip so it will primarily be listening to any groups or just enjoy listening to a session.
I know there are a few of you that live in the area so give me your favorite spot and if Jerry O’ is playing let me know that as well.

Thanks

Gary,
Here is a link with some sessions (there are many more I am sure). Mona’s tends to attract some top level talent.

Bets wishes,
Neil

Take care when going to Mona’s. Rough part of Manhattan. The murder of an aspiring actress not far from there made headlines last week…

Session at Mona’s is on Monday nights and doesn’t start until about 9:00 p.m. and doesn’t really start to get moving until midnight.

If you’re in NJ, you should contact David Power.

I’ve been trying to get in touch with David, actually. I sent him an e-mail, but it was an address I found online and might or might not still be in use (or he might not check his e-mail… there are people out there who don’t check their e-mail 8743829084901 times per day, funny enough).

If someone could e-mail/PM/IM whatever me contact info, that would be great.

David’s username on this board is “leremarkable” try this link to PM him: http://chiffboard.mati.ca/privmsg.php?mode=post&u=2638

…otherwise search for his name.

Gob less,

Patrick.
