What does no cross-posting instruments for sale mean? Does this mean that we are not supposed to post instruments elsewhere, e.g. Facebook?
Just means not to post on both the Exchange forum and the Whistle (or other) forums.

Looking for guidance on posting; another member asked about a whistle that I want to sell. What is the best way to respond without violating rules of forum discussions? Should I say I have one then post on Instrument Exchange?

Is this new? I seem to remember lots of posts in the relevant instrument forum where people said they just posted an instrument to the Exchange.

Hey Blayne (or anyone else who knows): Are replies allowed to posts in the Instrument Exchange now? In the Dale Force One era of C&F, it was discouraged or outrightly disallowed, but I’ve noticed that might have changed. I just sent a PM to a member instead of replying to their post in the IE, with suggestions on their WTB query, so just trying to sort out how to do things in the post-modern C&F milieu.
