Sorry to hear that. He was a fine gentleman.

There’s a nice old recording of him with fiddleplayer Seán Ryan from 1960 see here (although you may need to go to the mirror site to get the download).

There’s also a track of him and his son Noel on an lp made at the 1975 Fleadh.

I had forgotten about that, it’s listed here @ thesession. I heard Noel and Peter on several occasions, lovely playing always.

Yes and it’s a brilliant CD as well. Titled ‘The Pipes Are Calling’ with some lovely playing and unusual settings of tunes. It’s not the easiest CD to find, but if you can get a copy it’s well worth it.
