Tommy Kearney RIP

It is with great regret that we heard of the passing of Tommy Kearney in hospital in Waterford
13/12/2008.
Tommy was a great friend and mentor for over 30 years of Howard Music
.He gave a lot to Uilleann Piping and will be sadly missed.
Our sympathies go to his daughter Marie

Poor Tommy, sorry to hear that. I happened to think of him yesterday and wondered how he was doing.

I spend a good bit of time with him over the years, a true gentleman.

Sad to hear this news. He was a true gentleman. RIP

Ach thats sad.I enjoyed his gentle company a few years back.Rest well .

Very sorrow to hear of his passing. I never met him and dont know too much about him.Apart from being a piper was he involved in the piping world in other ways?

He taught quite a lot of pipers from the South East (Waterford, Wexford, Kilkenny), including Jimmy O’Brien-Moran and David Power, to mention but two.

Sad news . I remember meeting him at miltown malbey , he was with Brian Howard and another gentleman , I was able to learn alot about reeds that is well worth passing on to others .

Tuesday 16th Dec receiving into Dunmore East Church 6pm.
Wednesday 17th Dec. Funeral Mass Dunmore East Church 10am
