people who, so far as we know, don’t play the whistle
a rotating gallery of people who don’t play the whistle, and aren’t likely to take it up.

Stay tuned for more people who, so far as we know, don’t play the whistle (A Quinn-Martin Production)
But I um…thought the crystal people played whistles. Oh, ah wasn’t I supposed to mention that?

But aliens do endorse Arnold Schwarzenegger.
My dog has never played a whistle–but he’s slobbered on a few fipples in his time, if you know what I mean.
Hey I’ve seen that movie!!! Well I fell asleep to that movie. I think it was on MST3K (Mystery science theater three thousand to those who are uniformed makes fun of old Sci Fi movies by improving over the lines…)
Gort was just about to take up the whistle when some woman ran up screaming “Gort! Klaatu barada nicto!” and put paid to his ambitions forever.
My mum used to do pretty much the same thing when I borrowed a mate’s sax back in the 70’s…
I thought it was some dude named Campbell that yelled that and it sounded like “Klattu berahta… nitchechooo!”
I vote for Rumsfeld… that farbissineh* couldn’t get even a Generation fipple through those tight lips..
*means sourpuss: now all you Austin Powers fans know the truth…
He can…He’s just having trouble learning the fingering.

Good thing too. He was about to reach for one of his Whistles of Mass Destruction.

Dale, you’re alien is looking a bit emaciated there! I can see his … uh … rib-thing things
You gotta feed 'em, man! I’ve found Quaker State 10/30 is about right, but it may cause 'em to overheat on hot days…
/me needs coffee…

“I know my brain is around here somewhere . . . oh, where is it?!?!”
Never noticed his cloven front hoof before. Now everything is clear.

OK, OK, in the interests of political balance, here’s Hillary working on her embouchure:
That looks more like Hillary yawning after reading through some of the recent OT political threads.
Actually it looks more like a flute embouchure. One thing about David Kay, he better have a good :embouchure" if he comes up empty-handed.

No, for flute, the lower lip wouldn’t be protruding.
Somehow, i really like that photo. Probably because it reminds me of the David Drumlin character in the movie Contact.
