Argh! Why did Long John Silver’s drop the pirate theme? I think the name sort of begs the theme. Must be landlubbers in the corporate offices, mateys. Aye. I wonder what year their crewmen quit wearing the head scarves with the earring on it.

It used to be that when someone talked like a pirate, I pictured a guy with an eye patch, peg leg, hook hand, poofy shirt, French revolution headgear, etc.

Now I just see Mr. Crabs.

I dunno why pirates are so “in” right now, but they sure are. The movie was fun, but there seems to be more to it.
