OT, sort of: What else do you play?

I’m curious about this issue. If you play whistle, what else do you play? Is whistle your primary instrument? If not, why did you take it up?

I’ll start – I’ve been playing guitar for about 30 years, mandolin for about a year. I used to play whistle when I was in my 20’s (two decades or so ago), and took it up again recently (more seriously, I think), because I started fiddle lessons. I think that playing tunes on whistle gives you a better idea of how they should be phrased (but that’s another subject).

Ok, it’s your turn. Tell all!

No offense, but you ought to check the archives: This Topic has come up several times, and was just covered again, in depth, not that long ago.

Cheers,

Loren
