Steve,
I want to add my condolences to the above. It has not been long since I lost my mother as well and there is often something special between mothers and sons… I’ll play a tune for her as well and keep you in my thoughts today.
Clark
Steve,
I’m very sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my father a few years ago, he was only 54. I can only imagine how difficult this must be for you, and I wish you the best during this difficult time, and beyond.
Take Care, and don’t hesitate to shout for us here on the message board if there’s anything we can do to help.
Loren
Steve,
My prayers are with you and your family in the loss of your mother. It’s hard to lose a parent or grandparent. I wish we could keep them all.
Ken
Oh Steve, I’m so sorry for you. 68 is too young.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my Dad 6 months ago and I know it is hard to give them up. But, I know it helps me to think of him able to play music again in a better place than I can imagine. I prayer is that your Mom is enjoying renewed life too. You and your family are in my prayers.
Steve, I’m very sad to hear of the loss of your mother. My prayers are with you and your family. It’s a tradition on this board to play a tune for the loved one. Many people played for my dad two years ago when I announced his death here. I’ll play a slow air and think of you.
Tony
Steve,
Very sorry to hear of your loss. I am blessed to still have both my parents, to whom I am very close.
deepest sympathies, Martin
My heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. I too lost my ma after a long ugly illness. I treasure the memories of her before she got sick. She was caring, gentle and what I treasure most, full of fun and laughter. She always had a joke or story for me when I came home. She and my father were the smoothest dancers on the floor at weddings and get togethers. I wish you peace Steve, and may your memories of your mother in the good times bring a smile to your heart.

That is sad news indeed. When one of the people who brought you into this world passes on to the next, it brings new perspective and great sadness. My best wishes to you, Steve, and I understand your loss. Peace be with you and your family.

May your mom rest in the arms of God…my thoughts are with you.
