OT....--> go and look!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GARY YOU APE!!

HIP

Thanks Amar. Next time you’re in Swindon I’ll buy you a beer

i’ll be in edinburgh on july3rd

Amar is either ignorant of British geography or (much more likely) is incredibly optimistic.

ah yes, Edinburgh, that small village just on the outskirts of Swindon’s metropolis! Not far from Malmesbury, I shouldn’t wonder, out in Deliverance Country, home to many in-bred banjo players I suspect!

i must say, haven’t got a clue where swindon is. but i think it’s in denmark. no?

Dang. I drove around Swindon, on the outskirts, a few years back not knowing there was free beer to be had.

OK. The race is on. Gary, put that pint on the bar on the 3rd then Amar can race down from Edinburgh and I’ll set off from Louth. First one there gets the pint. If neither of us is there within 24 hours you can drink it yourself.
Next year we’ll organise it a bit earlier and the whole of Chiff & Fipple can join in the Great Gary’s Birthday Pint Race.

 Now that would be just too cool!

jbarter,
24 hours from Louth To Swindon???

What are you drivin’, a unicycle with a slow puncture!!

Slan,
D.

ahhh, i see, the bastard wants to cheat…well well…

Since I know the way and Amar doesn’t I thought it only fair that I dance a Morris jig all the way.

Mmmm,yeah that’s a fair handicap.

( Handicap as in racing parlance. I have no desire to offend the physically impaired! as for Morris Dancers…?)

Slan,
D.

Happy birthday, Gary!
