Well, here I am at almost 10:00 sitting at work. We close at 8:00, but I had to stay because our 11 year old non-internet unix mainframe with all greenscreen dumb-terminals is being replaced with a new Linux based server with all networked PCs and a DSL. It took me over a year to work out the deal, and today is the day. 
I guess they’ll be done at about 12:00 or 1:00 this morning. hmm… I hope everything works tomorrow 
. I’m sure some of the older folks are going to have a hard time with it. I havent been posting a lot lately because I have been re-working the few PCs we have and getting all the logistics in place with the computer company. It has been challenging but also fun to work everything out. I can’t imagine what this is like for a really big company.
I used to work all night at one of my jobs. I loved night shifts. I am so not a daylight person.
Cranberry, I have to admit, it is quite peaceful.

They finally got everything hooked up. This DSL is amazing! I know I sound like an eeediot but It’s 12:30 AM and like, I’m still at work and this is my first time on DSL. I’m just a little punchy.
Sometimes I don’t sleep for fifty hours so 12:30 is nothing to me.
