I am offering a six-key blackwood flute in D, made by Colin Hamilton. This flute is in excellent condition and is a great player. It plays strongly and clearly, with a consistently powerful sound across the octaves. The pads are sealing well and the springs are lively. There are no cracks or unsightly scratches on the flute. It has always been played and kept well-oiled. The keys and bands are sterling silver.
The flute is in Ireland at present. There are several people who might be able to carry the flute to the US and mail it from there. I have mailed such items worldwide from Ireland via Anpost, as registered mail and with minimal insurance. I have never had a problem with damage or with taxes or import duty. Shipping within the EU is fast and inexpensive.
The tuning is perfect and the sound is great. It is also quite easy to blow. There is no struggle necessary to get a good sound from this flute. You can see pictures of the flute on the EBay site and I will be happy to send more on request.

I expect the flute will sell in the neighborhood of €2,500. It’s a lot of money but it’s a great flute. 6-Key Hammy flutes don’t come around often and will be even harder to find in the future.
