No track list given?

Is this the record “Fire Aflame” ?

It was Liam’s first solo pipes recording. Some great playing on this tape.
Get It!

Whoops.

Thanks, Ben.

I’d misread “1988” as “1998”

These are my favourite versions of Fraher’s and Drunken Gauger.

Appearing with Liam are Séan Keane, Donal Lunny, Catherine Ennis plays organ on Easter Snow (Séamus Ennis’ daughter), Michéal O’Suilleabháin, Christy Moore, Helen Davies, Ashling Drury-Byrne, John Sheehan, Nollaig Casey.

So which version is better, the one with only one side or the one with two?

Well Kevin, it’s like slicing up a pizza. There’s the age-old question of “6 slices or 8?” You don’t ever want to slice it into 8 slices, because you might not be able to eat them all.

Thanks to djm & Peter Laban for the list.

His version of Willie Clancy’s Reel is one of my favorites!

 Good point! I moved this from cassette to CD long ago, and didn’t even think of the difference.

The Grey Gander or the Humours of Quilty would have been a better choice as a name though.

I scanned the tracklist from the lp cover, didn’t give the double sided issue a second thought.
