Hello - does anyone have a copy of Liam O’Flynn’s first recording, the one before “The Fine Art of Piping” that you want to part with, or know where one could procure a legit copy?
Thanks,

He has a couple of tracks on The Rambles of Kitty from waaay back in 1967, when he was calling himself plain old Liam Flynn. I wonder when he got be-O’ed?
i think you are talking about the self-titled album from the late 80s - this was issued by warners ireland and i don’t think it has ever been reissued on cd - i mentioned it on a facebook page dedicated to o’flynn but nobody seemed interested - it doesn’t make sense that a recording by such a major figure in piping should not be available - perhaps it’s worth asking if anyone is prepared to use their copy to burn cds of it not to make money but just charging enough to cover costs and postage

sorry - wrong one, i missed “the one before” bit

Looks like Ennis’s Coyne set on the album cover.
If anyone could e-mail this recording of Liam’s “Snug in a Blanket” from their iTunes or what have you, would you please PM me?
