Great that it’s been received and feels terrific…
but they all look the same (within their model style…and even then it’s merely hole size difference).
Now…if it had custom rings, or Nicholson-type excavations on the wood…that’s worth seeing.

Yes, I am enjoying the instrument very much. The tone is robust, the action quick and easy, and the colour easily taken from soft and pure through thick and gritty. The third octave is easily accessible to B without loosing its character.
Air-stream velocity and direction, embouchure characteristics (thick and full - smaller and direct) and full deep breathing really bring out the incredible potential this instrument possesses.
A post I read last year that I found quite interesting was the Olwell hole size post. So,…
