Hello,
just found this one on ebay:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/wooden-flute-/130958209501?pt=UK_Woodwind_Instruments&hash=item1e7db7b1dd
Seems to be a Pratten model, not a Rudall & Rose as stated in the text, but anyway. I play an Olwell Pratten myself; if this one has about the same qualities, it’s a great flute.
Maybe I should add that I have no connection whatsoever with the seller (at least none that I am aware of).

The seller says its the Nicholson model. This is a little different from the Olwell
Pratten. The Nicholson has slightly smaller finger holes, and has a sweeter sound
in the upper register. The Pratten is loud, and great for blasting out at sessions.
I have one of each … and can never decide which I prefer
There is a 12 month wait for these, and the price is currently just under the ‘new’ price.
The case shown is a Northwind case custom made for the flute, thats worth a few
hundred dollars itself.
(I have no connection with the seller)

FYI … Seller says it has serial number 960, and is about 3 years old …

£1040 = $1613 = 1080 Swedish crowns = 1207 euros - a reasonable price for the flute and Northwind box
That seems a very fair price. Good luck to the bidders!
Curious about the serial number. Is that a newish thing? I’ve never noticed one on mine.
The serial number is under the end-cap of the head joint … pull it off and you
will see it. Always worth making a note of this and keep it somewhere safe.
My 11 month old Nicholson model is 1136.
