I remember a long while ago on (going back years) on RTE they showed a Bothy Band concert “Live at the Embankment” in Tallaght I think it was…anyone now if this is readily available..seems RTE dont want to answer e mail…and while I have you, does anyone remember the BBC seris “Sessions from the Seventies”… would love to get my hands on a copy of that too…
RTÉ holds back on all the goodies. There’s a recent DVD called Come West Along the Road with clips of different performers. There’s one track by the Bothys on it: Pretty Peg, Gregg’s Pipes. There doesn’t seem to be a purely Bothy video out that I have seen. Your only hope might be to find someone who made a home recording of the tv show.
