Old Time Tunes on Uilleann Pipes

Besides the following, does anyone know of any other Old Time tunes that go well on uilleann pipes?

Old Greasy Coat
Shaking Down the Acorns
Benton’s Dream
Mike in the Wilderness
Feather Bed
Jake’s Got a Belly Ache
Tobacco Hill

Here are a few and I am sure that there are many more.

Leather Britches ( aka Lord McDonald’s)
The Speed of the Plow
The Rebel Raid
Stewart’s Longbow
8th of January

I play the 5 string banjo with my good old time friends, Bruce Green and Steve Millard and Don Pedi and there are plenty of tunes that can be played on the pipes, but there are so many good Irish tunes that I have never really delved into the old time repertoire very deeply.

Pat Sky

Johnny, Johnny Don’t get Drunk
Shanendoah Falls (if you have a G# key)

These are nice. I will post a list later of tunes I play on the flute that should work just fine.

Great stuff all! Thanks so much for the suggested tunes.

Some tunes I play on flute with abcs. They should all work on the pipes with a little it of imagination.
Some others, Bonapartes Retreat, Waiting for the federals, The single footing Horse, I made an old timey playlist on
Spotify and just let them seep in without a whole ton of effort after ignoring Old Time tunes for years.

Pat

Anyone know where I can find the music for the two tunes McGoldrick is playing:

Sail Away Ladies

Walking in the parlour

? Thanks.

Fiddler’s Companion is a start maybe
http://www.ibiblio.org/fiddlers/SAIL_SALLO.htm
and
http://www.ibiblio.org/fiddlers/WAL.htm
scroll down haven’t checked the abcs with an instrument in hand
usually a great source for old timey stuff
Is Walking in the Parlor the same tune as the Rochester Scottishe
on Chris Normans’ Man With the Wooden Flute
I will check them later.
