Not Wanted anymore: Copeland Low D

Decided to save my pretty pennies for a Burns Boxwood flute instead! Rather have that, I believe!

Thanks anyway!

Not looking!

Not :astonished:

Greenspider, a heads up… I have one of Michael’s brass low D whistles that he custom made for me back (I think) around 1999. The 6th or D finger hole is slightly offset to the right to help a bit with the reach. It’s in absolutely perfect condition with no dents, the slide was greased and moves smoothly, no teeth marks, plays very well in tune, etc.

I thought I was going to whistle like it’s 1999 but honestly, I’m primarily a flute player (and flute maker) and I don’t play it enough. I have a 4 keyed Copeland Grenadilla Blackwood flute that I love from around 1985 that I wouldn’t part with for the world, but I’ll probably be putting the low whistle up on ebay later this week with an opening bid of $350.

It ain’t cheap but it’s a beautiful thing. Keep your eyes peeled.

Cheers, Billy

Thanks anyway; changed my mind, but good luck on the sale.

No problem Barry, hope you get what you’re after. Not to sound too new agey and all, but keep it in your mind, and that whistle will appear.

all the best, Billy
