New squeeze!

Oh dear!
Is it my imagination or is there more birds in the sky than normal? And how come im off my food? For some reason the flowers seem to smell sweeter! Whats with this semi-skip i keep doing in my walking?
How come i cant concentrate? And my belly is full of butterflies! And i cant stop smiling!

Ive got it bad!

Seriously she is one cool lassie, weve known each other forever and never noticed each other in THAT way before until easter weekend when we hit it off and couldnt keep our mitts off each other!
now were sending about 10 mms messages to each other every day!

Ive got it bad!

Oh dear! :sunglasses:

ain’t nothing better, congratulations.

I have often walked, down this street before,
but the pavement always stayed beneath my feet before,
All at once am I seven stories high
Knowing I’m on the street where you live…

or, if you prefer:

Maybe the sun gave me the pow’r,
For I could swim Loch Lomond and be home in half an hour.
Maybe the air gave me the drive,
For I’m all aglow and alive.
What a day this has been! What a rare mood I’m in!
Why, it’s almost like being in love!
There’s a smile on my face for the whole human race!
Why, it’s almost like being in love!
All the music of life seems to be like a bell that is ringing for me!
And from the way that I feel when that bell starts to peal,
I could swear I was falling, I would swear I was falling,
It’s almost like being in love.

Congratulations, Flanum, and may this feeling last as long as you wish.

Love is a beautiful thing. Good news Flanum.

 Yep. It’s definitely a very special time. Turns your life totally topsy-turvy in a wonderful way!

Yes, Flanum, I know what you mean. I am 62 years old, and I find myself in a similar position. I think it was the piece of dark chocolate that she gave me during our first meeting; that’s what did it. Did you ever see the movie “Chocolat”?

My long-distance phone bill was so high that we had to get his and her cell phones with unlimited calling. We opted for the “family plan” with a two year contract, which hints that we both hope that this infatuation isn’t temporary. So now I am tearing up the highway (60 miles), driving back and forth several times a week.

The sentiments in Gerswin’s tune, “I’ve Got it Bad, and That Ain’t Good” are only partially true. They are good because being in love is wonderful. It ain’t so good if you think that you can keep on living your single, controlled life as you had been doing for years. So, you gratefully accept the pleasant reality that things are different now and get ready to make some major changes in your life. Do you mean that I have to give up control of my own refrigerator? Yes, Doug, you have to do that. But, but, no exceptions, sorry!

I am a fan of the “Comedian Harmonists”, a German, pre-WWII singing group. They have a humorous song about relationships. One stanza goes:

“She has eyes of blue,
I never cared for eyes of blue,
But she has eyes of blue,
And that’s my weakness now”

That certainly is my weakness, I must admit.

I believe its spring

A quick visit to the endocrinologist might be in order just to make sure it’s not just your thyroid acting up.

SIGH!!! It’s so romantic! How wonderful for you, Flanum! Isn’t love grand?

Aww, I thought this was going to be about an accordion!
:stuck_out_tongue:
Congrats, Connor! Is she a musician?

Did we…meet her when we were in Dublin at Easter??

I thought it would be about orange juice.

Justine has come out of hiding… nice bio in the SF club letter

Way to go, mate. I had the same illness about 7 or 8 years ago. I married the infectious agent about a year and a half ago, and the disorder has just become progressively more serious.

Ain’t life wonderful?

Enjoy.

May it prove real and true and may you two find life was made for eachother. Enjoy the heck out of it.

Keep it wrapped up, flan. You may just change your mind later on.
