It’s from the ‘Bringing it Back Home’ series, if I’m not mistaken. Correct?
God damn it! I actually checked that thread and all. Well it might come to more people’s attention this way.
The kudos is yours. curses.
worked for me - I always forget to check the giant threads ![]()
I will watch it properly later but have just skimmed it.
It brought back a forgotten memory. Back in 1980 there was a festival in London called A Sense of Ireland which included a piping exhibition at Battersea Old Town Hall. Various leading pipers popped in an out during the week but one evening there was a concert that included Seamus Ennis, Liam O’Flynn and Paddy Keenan. Afterward I took my copy of the Willie Clancy Tune Book and sought some autographs on the flyleaf. As I arrived at the small room off hall where the performers were Seamus was standing with a young woman and saying to Liam “Have you met my daughter” to which Liam replied he hadn’t and Seamus introduced them…seeing them playing together in the video brought that back and made me feel privileged to have witness them being introduced particluarly given who was making the introduction.

Anyone know of any other videos of the man himself going?
Any idea what the piece of music is being played toward the end of the video? I used to play pipe organ for a few years and really enjoyed that…
